How to Use Blogging to Promote your Five Dollar Funnel Business

Want to broadcast your message across the Internet and attract more people to join your five dollar funnel downline?

In this short tutorial I am going to show you how easy it is to start a free blog with Blogger.com to increase your web presence and attract more visitors. Before you create your free blogger blog there are a few things you should consider like your blog concept, keyword topics, blogging goals and how to set it all up.

Selecting a Blog Concept:

Here are a few ideas for you to use if you want but the theme that you want to use for your blog is entirely up to you! As you can see on this blog I have chosen to use a training theme so I can use it to supply my team with the much needed information that they may want to build their businesses. If you like you could use one of the other ideas I have listed below or go with something completely different, it's your blog so you can do what ever you want!

  • Training

Using Keyword Optimization:

Using keywords to attract search engine traffic is something that web marketers have been doing for many years and it is much easier than people may think! To optimize your blog using keywords, there are a 2 things that you may like to consider which are keyword research & keyword optimization.

  • Main Keywords
  • Long Tail Keywords
  • Finding Keywords
  • Using Keywords

Here is a video I found on Youtube by one of my Facebook friends that explains how to research keywords for your blog posts.

Planning out your Posts:

Planning what to write about is very easy and all you really need to do is think about what you readers might want to know. For example, if you are providing news for your readers then you can do a little research on what is happening in your industry or if you are providing a training blog you might like to find out the most common questions asked in your industry and create an article about that.

Consistency is very important for 2 reasons, 1 being that regular posting keeps your market engaged and promotes your reliability as a source of informaion. 2nd being for search engine monitoring as search engines will notice how often you post and rank your blog based on your blogs publishing habbits.

Setting up your Blog:

How to Post Banners to Build your Five Dollar Funnel Business

So you're probably wandering 'How do you post banners for five dollar funnel' right?

Perfect!

In this article I'm not only going to show you how to post your five dollar funnel banners but I'm actually going to host the banner images for you and give you all the scripts that you need, so that all you have to do is enter your personal affiliate link into the code to copy and paste it whever you want banners to show.

Before we jump into the coding, I just want to give you a brief overview of how the banner script works so that you have an understanding for how the script is set up and how it sends traffic to your website.

What is the Banner Ad Script?

The banner ad script is an html code which tells a web browser to display a particular image. This image is linked to a specific URL so that when the image is clicked it will send the visitor to your desired webpage.

In this instance we will be linking a five dollar funnel image to 'Your Personal Affiliate Link' and adding it to a script code. Then all you have to do is copy and paste the code to the place that you want it displayed.

How does the Script work?

The banner ad code is made up of 2 parts, the first part links to the landing page URL and the second part displays the image.

Landing page code example:
<a href="ADD YOUR AFFILATE LINK HERE">

This is where you will add your personal 'five dollar funnel' affiliate url.

<img src="ADD YOUR IMAGE URL HERE" width="300" height="300" border="0">

This is where you will add the image url that you want to display as your banner.

An important thing to know about the image source is that the image must be permanently hosted somewhere. In this case we can simply host the image right here on this blog post and link your banner directly to it by using the full script code.

You must also adjust the width and height of the image script code to match the correct size of the actual image size chosen ie: If you choose the 'Image 1: Skyscraper 160 x 600', you must then change the image script code width to 160 and the height to 600.

Image adjust size example:
<img src="ADD YOUR IMAGE URL HERE" width="160" height="600" border="0">

How to Send Follow Up Messages to your Five Dollar Funnel Leads!

Ok so you've shared you affiliate link around and have generated some leads but don't know what to next?

No problem!

In this short article I am going to share with you a few easy ways you can contact your leads and send them more information about the business. This is what we call a follow up sequence and can be automated but for now we will simply stick to manual contact.

1. How to send emails through your back office.

Sending emails to your leads through your five dollar funnel back office is very easy, once you have logged into your back office simply click the 'Leads' button at the top of the page.

Next you will click on the name of the lead that you want to send a message to which will open a message box at the bottom of your screen.

Now all you need to do is add a subject line, the message with your link included & hit SEND!

2. How to export your email list to send manually.

If you would like to send messages to your leads from a different email account or platform you can easily export your leads by copy & paste.

To export your leads you can go to your 'Leads' page and find the button that says 'Export Leads'. Clicking this button will open a new box containing all your leads information which can be copied to your clipboard to be pasted wherever you like.

Once you have copied your email list, you can then paste them to your desired location and be used to send email messages to your leads.

3. How to find and contact your leads on Facebook.

Facebook is a great place to contact your leads because you can offer a range of information to them including sending them links, inviting them to events, groups and pages.

To search for your leads on Facebook, all you have to do is follow step 1 and instead of sending a message using the text box you will find the button which says 'Find Facebook'. By clicking the 'Find Facebook' button, the system will automatically search Facebook for you lead using the email address that was provided during the sign up process.

Once you have found your lead on Facebook you can view their details, send them a message or add them as friend.

Contacting your leads is a great way to start building relationships with your prospects, the more they get to know you the more likely they will be to join your business so don't be shy... get out there and talk to your leads!

Compression is Happening Now... Don't Lose Your Commissions!!!

Boom!!! The compression process has just hit my downline & is creating some major movement...

If your not familliar with the five dollar funnel compression process I will quickly explain it for you. As a five dollar funnel member we build our downlines into a matrix style network that is automatically generated by the platform software. As time goes on, the company performs a 'compression' proceedure which removes all inactive member accounts and moves the active ones up the chain. What does this mean for active members?

Watch this short video to make sure you are not going to lose your commissions...

Now that you have watched the video and understand how important it is to make sure your account is up to date!

Here are 2 simple steps you can take to ensure your account is up to date:

1. Login and check the status of your account. If your account has gone inactive you may need to renew your subscription manually! You can check your subscription status here: http://fivedollarfunnel.com/affiliates/bank/accountStatus.php

To renew your subscription manually, all you need to do is click the 'Subscribe' button in your FDF back office like you did when your originally upgraded your account.

How to use Youtube Videos to Build your Five Dollar Funnel Downline!

Youtube is the second largest search engine on the Internet with 300 hours of video uploaded every minute and over 1 billion active users worldwide! With this in mind, let me ask you "Does uploading a sales video to Youtube for free sound like a good idea?".

In this article I am going to teach you how to create a Youtube account, channel & how to upload your videos to the platform.

Creating your Youtube Account:

Did you know that Google owns Youtube? That's right... so what I want to quickly share with you today is something that many marketers don't realise which is 'The power of Youtube videos in Google search results'. The cool thing about Youtube video's is that they rank really well in Google search results with very little effort... why? Because Google owns Youtube!

The reason I'm telling you this is because there are a few other Google owned services that you can tie in together which compliment each other & increase your chances of getting free traffic for your five dollar funnel videos. What are these Google owned services you ask? Gmail, Blogger & Google+.

With this in mind, the first thing you will want to do when setting up your Youtube account is to use a Gmail account as your email address! This will automatically tie your Google+, Blogger & Youtube account together so that when you upload a new video, it can automatically be linked to your other Google owned accounts... is that cool or what?

How to Create and Optimize your Youtube Channel:

Your Youtube channel is a powerful platform for broadcasting your message & attracting tons of quality leads for your five dollar funnel business! Optimizing your channel will allow you to stand out from the crowd & deliver your content in a much more efficient manner than the boring old set up.

Check out this short video to learn how to optimize your Youtube Channel:

Uploading and Optimizing your Videos:

There are a few little tips that can help your videos rank better than other so here are some optimization tips when uploading your videos.

Title, Description & Tags

When entering the video details it is always good practice to use relevant keywords in all three of these sections ie: If your video is about whipping eggs you could use keywords like 'How to whip eggs' or 'Easy way to whip eggs'. By using relevant keywords in all three sections you are telling search engines how relevant your video is to this topic and increases the likelihood that they will send free traffic your way!

Extras:

Video Syndication

By setting up your Youtube account and linking it to Blogger, Google+ & Gmail, you make it easier to syndicate your videos ie: Once you have uploaded a video to Youtube you can set your video to automatically post to your Google+ account, Blogger blog & other Google services. This makes it easy to build a free syndication network to broadcast your videos all over the Internet and the really cool thing about this is that the Google search engines love this type of content & often results in free search engine traffic!

How I added 10 new members to my Five Dollar Funnel Downline using Facebook!

Facebook is an absolute powerhouse for business promotion and considering that you only really need to recruit 3 members into your five dollar funnel downline to get started, Facebook is the perfect place to begin recruiting!

In this article I am going to teach you exactly how I added 10 new members to my five dollar funnel downline in my first 7 days of membership using Facebook.

Note: Due to the rapid growth of the company, Facebook has actually blocked the main fivedollarfunnel.com url which means that we are nolonger able to post our direct affiliate links to Facebook. Luckily this is not the end of the world and is a very common issue with fast growing affiliate programs. Here is a quick video explaining some easy solutions for posting your affiliate links to Facebook: 2 ways to post your 5DF affililate link to Facebook

Facebook Friends List

The easiest and fastest way for you to start building your five dollar funnel business is to invite people you already know. A big part of marketing is relationship building so why not invite people you already have realtionship with? All you need to do is take a look at your current friends list & pick a few people that you think might be interested in making some extra money & start a conversation. Start by asking questions to qualify your prospets & invite the ones that you think might be likely to sighn up.

Facebook Groups

Facebook groups are a great place to find likeminded people that are likely to join your business. There are thousands of groups to choose from and you can find them by typing relevant keywords into the Facebook searchbar like 'online business groups' or 'make money online'. This will give you a range of groups to join where you can then begin to look for likely candidates to invite to look at your landing page.

Facebook Events

Facebook events are perfect for getting eyes on your business because you can invite your entire friends list to come and check it out! Creating a Facebook event is very easy and can be done in a few short steps!

Step 1. Click here to go to Facebook event manager: http://www.facebook.com/events

Step 2. Click the button at the top of the page which says 'Create' to create your event.

Step 3. Enter details for your event and click the 'Create' button at the bottom right hand corner or the box.

Step 4. Add an event photo and a description containing your affiliate link in the text.

Step 5. Click on the invite button and select all your friends.

Private Chat

Direct contact using the private chat feature is possibly the most effective way to invite people to look at your five dollar funnel business. The best way to approach people is to simply send them an honest message to start a conversation. You can say something like, "Hi, hows it going? I am currently building an online business & noticed you are in the industry... can I ask what you do online?". The key to converting prospects into sign ups is to ask pre qualifying questuions like "Are you interested in making money online" or "Can I share a short video with you about what I have been working on?" after you have engaged in conversation for a while. This way you can determine whether or not the person is interested in your business.

An important thing to remember is to only ever give someone your affilaite link after you have asked... there is nothing worse than someone spamming your inbox, it often just annoys people & kills your chances of getting to the next step so remember to be courtious and ask before your post!

Extras:

Facebook Pages

Creating a Facebook Page is a great way to supply infromation to the public about your business and is much more proffessional than posting on your private profile. For a step by step guide on creating a Facebook Page click here: How to Create a Facebook Fanpage

Facebook Ad Platform

Facebook Advertising is an advanced method of generating traffic which I would not recommend without adequate training. Although this is a great way to generate targeted traffic to build your five dollar funnel business, this can also be a waste of money if you don't get it right! If you are looking at using the Facebook Advertising Platform to buy traffic, I would highly recommend learning how to do it correctly beforehand.
